Hydrotec introduced the aseptic bag in drum packaging back in late 1980s, with its first application launched for tomato paste in the northwest city of Mashhad (then the tomato capital of Iran). Since then, the Iranian packaging sector has evolved and matured in using aseptic packaging technology for the bulk packaging of tomato paste, fruit juice concentrates, fruit puree, fruit chunks, diced tomato, NFC, dairy and creams and more products each year. We’re proud to have lead the grounds and started a new movement which today this safe packaging plays an intergral role in the Iranian food packaging industry.
